Your walls act as a frame around a picture. In interior wall decorating you need to create design that instinctively forces your eye to move around the room. To draw your eye up towards crown moulding you can utilize the curtain rod technique and raise it above windows as in the previous example or add ironwork, art displays, signage, even an added shelf can be other alternatives to place above windows or doorways to help draw the eye up.
